How the Days Until the New Year are Calculated
To calculate the number of days until the New Year, find the difference in milliseconds between the next January 1 at midnight and the current local system date:
Math: (January 1 Time − Current Time) in Milliseconds ÷ 1,000 ÷ 60 ÷ 60 ÷ 24 = Days Remaining
