An AVIF to PDF converter is a file conversion utility that embeds AV1 Image File Format (AVIF) graphics into Portable Document Format (PDF) layouts. It draws AVIF pixels onto canvas vectors and exports them to JPEG/PNG bytes for standard PDF rendering.

Convert single or multiple AVIF images into a standard PDF document locally. No software installation, no uploads.

How it works

This tool converts AVIF graphics client-side using native HTML5 Image elements and the pdf-lib document engine.

When AVIF files are uploaded, each image is loaded as a browser Image object. The browser decodes the image data natively.

We draw the image onto an in-memory Canvas context to export the pixel buffer as high-quality JPEG binary bytes.

These bytes are then fed to pdf-lib, which embeds the frames onto matching page coordinates and compiles the PDF for download locally.

100% Private. All conversions occur entirely inside your browser. No internet connection required once loaded.
